Police in Wandegeya are investigating a case in which a private security guard allegedly shot himself dead on Thursday morning.
the deceased identified as Rogers Atuhire, attached to SGA security company is allegedly said to have shot himself dead at around 9:00am in Nakasero, Buganda Road Zone III in Kampala central division.
The Kamplala Metropolitant Police spokes person, Luke Owesigire said that initial reports suggest thatthe deceased wasdiscovered by his colleague, David Okudu who had come for his day guard duties.
Okudu in his statement said that he had heard the sound of a gun cocking but did not take it seriously thinking that it was just a routine safty precaution.
Police has so far detained six people for questioning over the incident to assist on the investigations.
