Opinion. We are now getting closer to understanding who is behind the killings of our people in Greater Masaka-kyaguanyi speaks out on Masaka killings

The former legislator and 2021 presidential candidate Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi aka bobi wine came out Tuesday night on the Masaka killings saying that those behind the killings are yet to be identified.

In his post on one of his socials, the musician turned politician and acrivist alleged that it wasn’t a surprise if the objective of the killings was to frame political opponents and cause terror within the region and country. The politician picked out incidents of Acholi, Lango, Kasese and Bududa that faced killings after elections turned in favour of the opposition.

“Yesterday a friend reminded me of Gen. Kahinda Otafire’s words at the burial of Prof. Adonia Tiberondwa on 26th Dec. 2004 in Bushenyi. He revealed that NRA rebels led by Yoweri Kaguta Museveni used UPC government army uniforms to kill people in order to make people hate the UPC government” he said in a post.

“This is how the Museveni rebels tricked the people of Luweero into supporting them and hating the UPC government” he explained.

Bobi wondered how police can easily look for and arrest political opponents from “the deepest rural areas and even stop protests on record time but they now tell us they do not know and cannot stop bandits killing people in Masaka with just pangas”.

Kyagulanyi claimed that the incidents of Entebbe killings in 2017, burning of schools over the years and similar murders in greater Masaka in 2018 with no conclusive report can only be concluded as a false flag opperation-an attack or hostile action blamed on another party by perpetrators, intending to cause mass fear, achive certain unpopular political objectives or framing a political opponent.

The politician remineniced about the Arua incident claiming that the government can lie about anything if it could lie that they found machine guns in his hotel room. “That is how they operate. He said.

“I remember Gen. Museveni one time said he was going to return the NRA Tactics. Ate you thinking what I am thinking? He concluded.
