Singer Jose Chameleone’s wife, Daniella Atim, has told her story with her husband’s family regarding the gender of her children. Daniella says as soon she got married to Chameleone, the Mayanjas started laying demands on her that they want a boy first before anything else.
Fortunately, God made it easy for her and she brought forth a boy child as her firstborn. This put a lid on all those making demands. After her first child, she brought forth the first and second boy, and then more demands came in from her husband’s family.
By this time though, she was all faded up and tired of the involvement of the Mayanja family in their marriage. She says at this point she had decided not to be a weakling, so she stood up for her self and silently drew out of family gatherings.
By the time Daniella gave birth to her girl child, her relationship with her husband’s family was already in a mix. She didn’t want even her kids to set foot at their grand parents home because she feared they would stain her name. However, narrating all this, Daniela didn’t point out Chameleone in any way. Whether he defended her or not, we are not sure about it.
Therefore, isn’t it about time, families of spouses stayed away from their children’s families. Especially the way they bring forth their children. It not only brings disagreements but also creates division among family members.
