First Son General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has assured public that he has to become president because it is the only way he can repay his great-mother. “The only way I can re-pay my great mother is by being President of Uganda. And I shall definitely do it,” he said.
Since the beginning of this year, Gen. Muhoozi through his Muhoozi Army team has been gearing up to become the next President of Uganda after his father President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Recently, Muhoozi even warned the current leading opposition candidate for presidency, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine that he doesn’t fear an election against him.
“I don’t fear an election against ‘Kabobi.’ I would beat him very badly. We beat him in 2021, we will beat him again.”
He added, “Kabobi should know that we will never allow him to be president of this country.”
Muhoozi’s bid to come for Presidency has however left many Ugandans wondering if the country won’t go into a political or constitutional crisis being that President Yoweri Museveni is also expected to stand again come 2026.
