News anchors Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa and Sandra Lian took to TikTok to dance to Mudra Viral’s latest hit single Balo Balo. The video of the song, which was produced by Artin Pro and D’Mario, was released six days ago. It was directed by renowned music video director Sasha Vybz.
In the song, whose lyrics are in Luganda and some little English, Mudra belts out: “Hit it, hit that one, selector, pull up, who is that dancing baby?… What you are doing to me, I can feel it inside.”
It has become commonplace for news anchors to do dance videos after reading the news. They then upload the videos to their social media platforms to keep their fans engaged.
For instance, Mukasa uploaded the video on Thursday evening and it already has over 58,000 views on TikTok, over 100 comments, and 6000 plus comments.
It could end up being watched by more people than watched the news segment they anchored that evening.
