It was a session to drink in as the duo hit the stage to fire up an already-animated audience. Karungi and Diana started to work publically together when the former attended the latter’s EP launch dubbed Star Gal held in May this year.
It came on the back of continued reports that the two were jockeying for the label of the top female artiste in the country, though to some observers it appeared that it was fans trying to pit them against each other.
But since then, the two have appeared to support each other and Diana was among artistes that promoted Karungi’s concert on social media and also joined other acts that curtain-raised for her.
Winnie Nwagi, Chosen Blood, King Saha and Mudra Viral also performed at the show, which could so far be the most attended concert at Serena this year.
According to adverts, Karungi is supposed to perform for the second time at Serena today. She is the first musician to hold a concert in the same venue for two days consecutively.
She will also do Freedom City on December 11, Kyotera on December 16, Mbarara on December 17, and conclude with Fort Portal on December 18.
Born Hajarah Namukwaya, Diana is also set to hold her maiden concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala on January 23, 2023.
