Juliana Kanyomozi Honored for Contributions to Uganda’s Music Industry from Mariam Ndagire Film and Performing Arts Centre

In a ceremony held on Thursday, celebrated Ugandan songstress Juliana Kanyomozi was awarded an honorary accolade in recognition of her significant contributions to Uganda’s music industry. The Mariam Ndagire Film and Performing Arts Centre (MNFPAC) presented her with a Certificate in Music.

MNFPAC is an institution dedicated to nurturing emerging filmmakers and providing mentorship to aspiring filmmakers and youth in Uganda.

It offers training in various aspects of film production, including screenwriting, directing, producing, cinematography, editing, sound recording, and acting.

Juliana received her certificate during the institute’s third graduation ceremony. Founder Mariam Ndagire emphasized that this honor was long overdue, praising Juliana for her exceptional talent.

In her acceptance speech, Juliana expressed her gratitude to Mrs. Ndagire and MNFPAC for recognizing her efforts. Reflecting on her journey, she said, “It is amazing how much time can fly because you look back and realize how much you have done, and it seems like it all happened in a blink of an eye.”
