Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine has been congradulated by the Miniter of Youth Hon. Balam Byarugahara and Miniter of ICT and national guidance Dr. Chris Bayromunis for completing his Bachelor of Law.
Speaking at Cavendish University’s 13th Graduation ceremony, Hon Balam thanked the NUP President for finishing his Law degree.
Dr, Chris Baryomunsi in his message thanked kyagulanyi for finishing the Degree and invited him to join the Attorney General’s chambers. “I take this opportunity to congratulate him because, in a few minutes, he will be awarded. Maybe after we shall welcome him in the Attorney General’s chambers to serve as a legal officer”. He said.
The minister went on to thank the government for promoting higher education by helping expand the country’s universities.
“The last time i checked with the National Council for Higher Education, we had 53 registered Universities. To us who serve in Government, this is an achievement” he said. “30 years ago it was hard to access University Education with only Makerere being the only University in the country” he added.
The minister emphasised embracing digital technology especially since the country is largely of the youth. “We carried out a census and from the 47.9% population, the youth are the majority and most of you here graduating are also youth”. he said.
The ICT minister of ICT and national guidance encouraged the graduates to become an example to the community. “You have gone to school, you should be distinguished from those who have not gone to University”. he said.
Cavendish University graduated over seven hundred graduates at Munyonyo Conference Center.
