Jose Chameleone’s eldest son, Abba Marcus, has publicly criticized his father and paternal grandparents, claiming they have been neglectful and irresponsible in their care for the family. Abba, who currently resides in the United States with his siblings, expressed his anger over the lack of support his father has received despite ongoing struggles.
The family’s troubles began after Abba’s mother, Daniella, separated from Jose Chameleone due to ongoing domestic violence. Although the family chose to remain silent about the situation for some time, Daniella later revealed the details to the public, including the fact that she had divorced the singer. She was often labeled as the “angry ex-wife” for speaking out about the situation.
Recently, Chameleone’s health has been in the spotlight after he was hospitalized in critical condition. Abba shared that his father’s battle with alcohol and drug addiction is taking a severe toll on his health, with doctors warning that he only has about two years to live if his behavior doesn’t change. Abba’s frustration lies in the fact that rather than supporting his father in overcoming his addiction, those around him, including his grandparents, are enabling the destructive habits.
Abba expressed his dismay, saying, “His doctors said if he continues with such a behavior, he will have only 2 years to live. My mom has nothing to do with my dad’s health. I am angry at my dad and the people he surrounds himself with. Irresponsible grandparents who don’t care about their children’s well-being. I don’t like any association with them.”
This candid revelation from Abba Marcus highlights the deep emotional toll the situation has taken on the family and underscores the gravity of the challenges that lie ahead for his father.
