The 2020 PLE results are expected to be released this Friday by the minister of Education and sports Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni.

According to the press release by Jennifer Kalule Musamba, the ministry principle public relations officer, the event will be held at StateHouse Entebbe at 11:00am.

Multiple media channels will be airing the event live on all socials and conventional media.

For one to access the results, the candidate or interested persons may use the shirt message services (SMS) by typing PLE <space> full index number of the candidate eg 003301/368 and then send to 6600 across all local networks.

The statement says that schools will be able to access the results on the examination center portals for downland because hard copies of the results will not be available to school administration until conditions permit due to covid19 and an official communication will be passed on  to the District, Municipality and city inspectors of schools to collect the hard copies.

A total of 749,761 candidates from 14,300 examination centers registered for PLE in 2020 of which 53% were females and 47% male says the press statments.

The statement notes that thier was no much change in terms of performance relating it as “comparable to the previous year”.
