Daniella Atim appears determined to reveal the truth about her past marriage to Ugandan singer Dr. Jose Chameleone, sharing her experiences one piece at a time. Her latest revelation challenges Chameleone’s claim that he bought a house for their children in the United States.
Back in 2019, the “Valu Valu” singer announced that he had purchased a property in the U.S., and it was believed that this was the home where his ex-wife and their children now live.
However, Daniella, who has been gradually recounting the painful memories from her marriage, has now dismissed this claim.
Daniella disclosed that she emotionally and mentally detached from her marriage in 2016. At that point, she began planning her exit, although she continued to make public appearances with the singer to avoid arousing suspicion. She shared that her strategy was to keep her intentions hidden from him, adhering to the idea of “not letting your enemy know your next move.”
In preparation for her departure, Daniella took a six-month break in the U.S., which helped her understand the challenges she would face once she left permanently. In 2018, she finally gathered her belongings, left the marriage for good, and relocated without leaving any sign of her plans.
Life in the U.S. was not easy initially, as Daniella had to take on two jobs and do occasional side work to support her family. Gradually, her circumstances improved, and she managed to enroll her five children in school, with some of them now close to finishing. Eventually, she became a homeowner, disputing Chameleone’s claims of having bought the property.
Daniella further revealed that she obtained a restraining order against Chameleone in 2023 after he allegedly threatened her at her home. She shared that she has since opened herself up to love again and appears to have fully moved on from her past with the popular Ugandan singer.
