speaking at the celebrations marking 55 years of Kampla archdiocese at Lubaga Cathedral, the Bugada premier said that the church has always supported the Kingdom efforts such as coordination of masses to donate blood which was a kingdom initiative and making changes in ownership of land especially the milo land system which the kingdom uses.

“the church has made arrangements such as extending health services, education, relating jobs for the youth and many more initiatives similar to those in line with what the King wants for his subjects”.

In defence, the prime minister of Uganda Robbina Nabbanja said that no one will take away the milo land system but government wants to stream line ownership and attainment of land to avoid fraud such as duplication of land titles.

” some of our people- and I have saw them red handed-have found ways of getting land titles illegally by having another title on top of the rightful owner and so the ministry of lands is computerising this so that we eliminate theft” she said.

the prime minister also donated 50 million to the church to help in acquisition of equipment that can help in checking temperature of those entering for prayers.
