The Kingdom of Buganda has yet again focused on helping those infected with HIV Through the Kabaka Birthday run.
The annual run that is aimed at celebrating the Kings birthday carries a message of not only improving peoples health through exercising but also contribute to the vulnerable.
Today the kingdom launched the program of how events will take place on Sunday (28th November 2021)
According to Hon. David Mpanga speaking on behalf of the chairperson organising committee, Kabaka birthday run Associate Prof. Hon. Dr. Twaha Kigongo Kaawaase, only those invited with invitation cards shall be allowed to access Lubiri for the virtual birthday run.
The run will be officially launched by the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi at Lubiri by 8:00am.
“The king will officially launch the run at 8:00am and all those invited will run inside the Libiri Palace”. Minister Henry Sekabembe in charge of youth affairs, sports and leisure said.
