Why Are You Quiet About My Beating Yet You Sympathize With Bobi Wine Supporters – Furious Majambere Attacks Buganda Premier Mayiga, Vows To Report Speaker Among To M7

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s controversial supporter Ivan Kamuntu Majambere has attacked the Speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among and Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga for not sympathising with him when he was thumped by National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters at the burial of Jakana Sulaiman Nadduli, the son to former minister Al-Hajji Abdul Nadduli.

In a video clip seen by this investigative website, Majambere, who was moving on a stretcher told his friends that he is steadily recovering and, in a few weeks, he will be moving on his two legs.

Majambere thanked all those who stood with him during one of the trying moments of his life. Sources disclosed that Majambere has been receiving medication from Nakasero hospital where he was taken on orders of President Museveni.

However, in the clip, Majambere accuses the speaker of keeping quiet and failing to make any statement condemning his attack as she has done when opposition people are attacked.

“If I get the opportunity to meet the President, I will tell him that those people he recruited from the opposition are still working for the opposition. That’s why they are sympathizing with the opposition people who are arrested by security for abusing the president and his family and condemning the manner in which they are arrested but when it comes to NRM supporters, they keep quiet,” Majambere said.

He added that he has been a supporter of Buganda Kingdom development programmes and was among the people who contributed “ettoffaali” when the kingdom Premier Mayiga was looking for funds to repair Kasubi tombs that were burnt by unknown people.

Majembere said that he was very surprised when the kingdom decided to keep quiet when he was beaten.

He accused Mayiga of promoting tribalism by keeping quiet when he was beaten, yet he always comes out to condemn government when Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) supporters faceoff with the government.

However, it should be noted that parliament directed the Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja to come out with a statement on what caused the fight at Jakana’s burial and table it on the floor of parliament.

Buganda parliamentary caucus chairperson who also doubles as the Butambala county Member of Parliament, Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi insists that Majambere was staged by government to divert people from asking hard questions on the cause of Jakana’s death.

He accuses Majambere of provoking the mourners who lost their patience and fought him, a plan which was achieved.
