Vendors operating in Nakawa market have appealed to Government to help elevate its standards so that they can operate in a good environment.
The displeased vendors who operate in Nakawa say that it is unfortunate that they are left to work in such conditions, which hinder customers from buying from them.
“Our market is so bad and it gets worse when it rains. Customers cannot enter te market to buy from inside because when it rains, there is mud allover” a vendor said”.
“imagine some vehicles bypass our market and stop in Kampala markets due to the greave situation our market is in” another vendor added”.
The vendors would like Government to renovate their market to look like Wandegeya and Nakasero markets which are well organized and tarmacked.
