Mikie Wine Reveals Why He Set His Concert Date On The Same Day As Gravity Omutujju. Which one are u attending ???

Firebase singer Mikie Wine has recently addressed the controversy surrounding the date of his upcoming concert, which coincides with another major event by singer Gravity Omutujju. Gravity had earlier announced his “Embaga Ya Isma N’amina” concert, scheduled for September 7th at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Just two days later, Mikie Wine revealed plans for his own concert, “Tusabale Ku Jahazi Pier,” in Munyonyo on the same date.

This unexpected overlap quickly drew attention from fans and netizens, who speculated about possible malice. Theories emerged suggesting that Mikie Wine’s choice of date was a deliberate move to undermine Gravity, given the past tensions between Gravity and Mikie’s older brother, Bobi Wine.

However, Mikie Wine has firmly denied any ill intent. He explained that the date was selected well in advance, motivated by personal reasons and fan requests.

Initially, he had planned to hold his concert on his son’s birthday, but since the date fell on a weekday, he moved it to the following Saturday, September 7th.

“I have performed at many concerts for other artists, and fans have been asking when I would have my own. So, I booked September 7th a long time ago. I originally wanted to hold the concert on the 2nd for my son’s birthday, but since it was a weekday, I rescheduled it to the weekend. There is no malice involved,” Mikie Wine stated.

With this clarification, Mikie Wine hopes to dispel any misunderstandings and focus on delivering an unforgettable performance for his fans.
