Sheebah Reveals Why She Has No Time For Men

Kampala singer, Sheebah Karungi, has as always maintained that she is never going to get married. She add that, this “fact” has not stopped men from admiring her. In an interview, she confirmed she doesn’t make herself available for admirers to stress her.

“I am not the kind of person you’ll find on the road and ask me to go on a date. You must take your time, understand the woman I am, and find the best approach to use on me,” she explained.

She also said she is busy with her businesses, Holic Pads, Red table bar, and others. Therefore, her schedule is full throughout the year.

Her stance on “women supporting women.”

Sheebah is one of the most successful female musicians in Uganda and is proud of being independent. She has on several occasions trashed men and prides herself in her feminist values.

Sheebah has always said she doesn’t need a man in her life whatsoever. She was raised by a single mother who didn’t need a man to take care of her.

The singer also advocates for women to support each other. Apparently, that is why she never considers men that important. However, one would ask, if she dislikes men this much, why does she take money from them through the numerous business dealings she has.

Her music concerts are not only attended by women, her bar is thronged not only by women. Everything about her including music production among others has men written all over them.

What sense then, does it make for a male-dependant female singer to use her fatherless upbringing to trash the actions of all hard-working and present fathers?

One can be forced to think Sheebah is just a business woman hiding behind populism that is, feminism, to fleece vulnerable women their earnings in the name of “women supporting women”.

Her holic pads, if to go by her notion of “women supporting women”, are priced way above what other brands are. Many women can’t afford them. Or is she asking other women to support her businesses and not vice-versa?

She could cut the price to half, at least this would match other superior brands currently in the market. And of course, she would perhaps use the notion of “women supporting women” again.

Her music, however, speaks for itself. She is a good singer and dancer, no doubt, albeit a seductress who uses her feminine charm and sad upbringing to drive public opinion.
