Former media personality Bettinah Tianah real name Betty Nassali has clapped back at critics using her skin complexion as an insult.
A few days ago, Bettinah was the focus of online conversation after she exposed and cautioned a man identified as Jones who had called her business number at night requesting to speak to her juvenile.
However, her decision to expose Jones sparked a variety of responses from online users, some of whom praised her for exposing his unethical behavior.
The former host of the NTV Style and Fashion Project show, however, was denigrated by others who included her skin tone as one of their criticisms.
As evidenced by her most recent post, Bettinah did not appear to find this offensive. In response to criticism of her dark skin tone, Bettinah said she is proud because it has improved her financial situation.
“In this day & age I still find comments under my posts where men think calling me black thighs is an insult, my skin has changed my life financially, through my organic skincare.”
“We continue to help people of every color to nourish & love their natural beauty
I’ll continue to stand for what I believe in
Black is beauty!!! I will never be ashamed of my skin
Life on earth started in Africa, ain’t that something to be proud of!!!
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY BLACK!”
