Victoria Muthoni Theuri was a young beautiful Kenyatta University (KU) student who had her whole life ahead of her which has sadly been cut off by the cruel hand of death. She was found dead in her boyfriend’s house just days after she went missing and her story has since broken hearts on social media.
Going through her photos, it is easy to conclude that Victoria Muthoni was a smiling machine and she let her smiles light every place that she went.
She did not fail to illuminate joy in every place that she was in with her infectious smile. Not only were her looks beautiful, but she also had a kind look on her face that showed she was beautiful on the inside and the outside.
The Public Policy and Administration student was last seen alive on Christmas Day after she left her parents’ home in Kahawa Sukari, Kenya. She told her folks she had gone to visit her sister but on the evening of the same day, her parents realized she did not go to her sister’s place.
On Thursday, December 29, police officers found the young lady’s body in her boyfriend’s house in Kahawa Wendani’s Alvo House.
This was after the building’s caretaker reported to the police about a foul smell that was emanating from the house following complaints by neighbours.
Muthoni’s boyfriend had left her in his apartment and travelled upcountry for festivities.
“She must have been dead for at least three days,” a police officer privy to the case said. Her boyfriend has since been arrested for questioning by detectives at Ruiru sub-county Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters.
