Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) Aircraft this morning crash landed in Bar-dege Cell, Kalongo Town Council in Agago district.
The aircraft with 7 soldiers on board including the pilot crash landed at around 11:30 am in an open ground, a few meters from Kalongo Airstrip.
They were allegedly from Achol- Pii Army Barracks in Pader district transporting fighting Equipment to Agago district for an operation.
James Nabinson Kidega, the Agago Resident District Commissioner who doubles as the chairperson of the District Security Committee confirmed the report.
He said that six soldiers sustained minor injuries while one soldier is in critical condition pending transfer to Kampala for specialized medical attention.
