Grief has hovered over friends and family of a recent Makerere University graduate identified as Rael Chebet Charlotte after she passed away Tuesday, at Mbale Hospital due to complication related to a blood clot.
The deceased was the wife of Mr Chebet Emmanuel who graduated from Kyambogo University with Bachelor of Social Sciences last year.
The couple got married in March 2023 and had spent barely three (3) months into their marriage. Rael had expressed discomfort with her health before the unfortunate happened, Campus Bee has learned.
“The cause of death is brain ischemia (closed veins) and tear of the Main artery in the brain plus clots. The mother of the deceased revealed that the daughter had a complaint of headache and dizziness way even before the father was ill and they had planned to take her for a medical checkup, but unfortunately,
the father became sick also and all attention was shifted to the father until now that it manifested again,” a source close to the family of Ms Rael, told Campus Bee.
Burial arrangements are underway as the deceased will be laid to rest on June 28 at her home area in Kapnarkut, Kween District. May God shine light upon Rael’s family amidst this sad moment.
