A 20-year-old boy identified as Frimpong, aka Alkaline, was electrocuted after attempting to steal from a shop, a town in Sunyani West Municipal.
Frimpong, also referred to as Alkaline lost his life due to electrocution during an attempted robbery. Frimpong and his friends reportedly targeted a Winding shop for their theft, unaware that the shop owner had rigged the premises with electrified security tactics.
As they attempted to break in, Alkaline came into contact with the live electrical setup, resulting in a fatal electrocution.
