House of Prayer Ministries Lead Pastor Aloysius Bugingo has successfully returned to his residence in Namayumba, Wakiso District, following a recent hospitalization.
Reliable sources close to the outspoken pastor have confirmed that he is now out of danger and has been discharged to continue his recovery at home.
Yesterday, Pastor Bugingo’s vehicle, bearing the registration PRAIZ GOD, came under gunfire from unidentified assailants along Namungoona, Zone 2, Kasubi Rubaga Division, Kampala, at Bwalakata Junction along National Housing Road. The assailants swiftly fled the scene on a motorcycle after the attack.
Despite sustaining injuries during the incident, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo managed to transport the damaged vehicle to Mulago Hospital for medical attention.
Tragically, the pastor’s bodyguard, Richard Muhumuza, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The Old Kampala Police have initiated a thorough investigation into the distressing attack to determine the motives and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this unfortunate incident.
