Ugandan singer, Mikie Wine, is beaming with joy as his eldest son, Romeo Mukwaya, achieves an outstanding performance in the recently disclosed 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) officially unveiled the 2023 PLE results on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
During the announcement held at State House Nakasero, Dan Odongo, the Executive Director of UNEB, revealed that a substantial percentage of candidates in the 2023 cohort had attained Division 3 and higher grades.
Notably, among the top performers who clinched a first-grade pass was Mikie Wine’s eldest son, Romeo Mukwaya.
Taking to social media, Mikie expressed his deep gratitude and immense pride for his son’s remarkable achievement.
He acknowledged that their humble beginnings had borne fruit, with the promise of more success from his other children in the future.
Although the specific aggregate score of Romeo was not disclosed by the singer, it is evident that he sailed through with flying colors, securing a coveted first-grade result.
