In Mayuge district, authorities are on the trail of an unidentified man involved in a tragic incident where a female bar attendant reportedly died following sexual intercourse. The distressing event unfolded at the MK bar situated in Dwaliro zone within Mayuge Town Council.
The woman, known only as Jemima and aged 27, was discovered lying on a bed within the same bar where they had rented a room for their encounter.
According to reports, Jemima, who was allegedly intoxicated, was found in a collapsed state by her colleagues within the bar premises after her partner had disappeared.
SSP Diana Nandawula, the police spokesperson for Busoga East regional police, disclosed that Jemima passed away while being transported to Mayuge hospital for medical assistance.
Nandawula indicated that the authorities are eager to question the man linked to the demise of the deceased, as the exact cause of death remains uncertain.
“We have initiated a search for the unidentified individual who departed following a sexual encounter that purportedly resulted in the death of Jemima,” stated Nandawula. She emphasized the importance of locating the man for clarification regarding the circumstances leading to his lover’s demise.
The body of the deceased is presently held at the Mayuge hospital mortuary awaiting a postmortem examination, as investigations into the incident persist.
Nandawula emphasized the urgency of finding the man, suggesting that his testimony could shed light on the tragic events that transpired.
She highlighted the fact that he left the scene abruptly, leaving unanswered questions surrounding the untimely death of his partner.
