In a modest community in Kinyarwanda, a mother of two beautiful children captured the world’s attention when she married the love of her life, a man who is disabled and can only move his gizzards. Despite her family’s disapproval, she chose love over convention and has been carrying her husband for years, raising their wonderful children together.
Valence, the husband, shared his story with an interviewer. He revealed that he was not born disabled. His condition began at the age of seven when he fell ill and slipped into a coma. During this coma, he was clinically dead for several hours before miraculously reviving. However, when he woke up, some parts of his body, including his legs, had stopped functioning.
