Legendary musician Moses Ssali, better known as Bebe Cool, has shared his struggles with finding organic food during his travels to the United States and how his eventful life has shaped his gratitude.
Upon turning 45 years old, he knelt down and thanked God for keeping him alive, a heartfelt moment he shared with his fans.
In an interview with fellow artist Juliana Kanyomozi, Bebe Cool disclosed his difficulty in sourcing nutritious options in the U.S., lamenting the prevalence of sugary foodstuffs which he finds unhealthy.
The Gagamel singer expressed his relief when his brother’s wife stepped in to prepare organic meals for him, prompting him to reconsider his approach to international travel.
Bebe Cool revealed plans to enlist a personal chef for his future trips, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy diet, particularly one rich in Ugandan cuisine.
“I was in the States of late and I tried to find normal food until my brother’s wife decided to cook for me every day. I couldn’t stand eating everything with sugar. I am going to start traveling with a chef permanently because now I can afford it,” he shared.
Echoing his sentiments, Bebe Cool underscored Uganda’s abundance of nutritious food options and favorable climate. He emphasized the significance of prioritizing health, stating,
“I have put 1 plus 1 together and I want to live long, and I know the key to living long is avoiding stress, no fights with the wife, and eating healthy. Every rich man must have a chef.”
