A video showing Prince Richard Ssemakookiro declining to eat the cake served during the 31st coronation of his father, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, has left netizens curious.
The video shows Ssemakookiro initially ignoring the cake when Nnaalinnya Christine Agnes Nabaloga brought it. In contrast, those around him, including Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga and the Nnaabagereka of Buganda, Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata, picked their portions. Though Ssemakookiro eventually took a piece, he was not seen eating it.
Nabaloga took the cake away just as Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo, the Minister of State for ICT, raised her hand for a portion, a moment that also caught netizens’ attention.
One commented, “The real news here is how Nabaloga turned away from serving Joyce Ssebugwawo. This is extremely unpleasant.”

Another added, “The ICT Minister did not look good ๐น๐น๐น.”
