Galaxy FM radio presenter and DJ Nimrod has responded to the troubled singer Gift Ov Kaddo, urging him to seek rehabilitation instead of acting out on the streets.
Gift Ov Kaddo, once successful alongside his partner Mr. X, has struggled since Mr. X’s passing. He has become isolated and is now battling drug and alcohol addiction.
Gift Ov Kaddo has expressed feelings of abandonment by Ugandans and the media, attributing his struggles to Mr. X’s death. Despite attempting a solo career, he has not found success.
Recently, Gift Ov Kaddo performed at Weasel’s concert, but the event was marred by drama when he publicly accused DJ Nimrod of not playing his music and harboring animosity towards him. He claimed that Nimrod’s refusal to play his songs stemmed from personal dislike.
In response, DJ Nimrod denied any ill will towards Gift Ov Kaddo. He suggested that the singer’s bitterness towards others is a reflection of his internal struggles and emphasized the importance of rehabilitation for Gift Ov Kaddo to regain control of his life.
“I haven’t done anything wrong. I just think Gift Ov Kaddo needs to go to rehab to get his life back together. We can clearly see that he is struggling,” DJ Nimrod stated.
