Experiential learning: Dr. Muganga advocates for work-learning relationship and embracing the Age of AI during VU’s 8th Graduation

Dr. Lawrence Muganga, the vice chancellor has called onto students to embrace using AI technology in the digital world but also learn to work while at campus in order to attain work experience in addition to the studies.

The message was delivered during the 8th Graduation ceremony of Victoria University that was held on Friday this week with over one thousand students graduating in the different disciplines.

“With the introduction of experiential learning, graduates come as students but do not only leave with credentials but a job too” he said.

As a result of the blended learning approach, Dr. Muganga noted that it not only helped students learn from wherever they are in the world but also helped those with jobs to work as they work-uninterrupted by location or time zones.   One of the graduates working at NBS, Lutaaya Daniel testified in a short video how the online teaching and learning helped him to keep up with studies while working in the different parts of the world.
