The internet and large sections of Ugandans are still surprised by the fact that singers Desire Luzinda and Levixone are actually a couple right now. This is after a video of the two surfaced having an introduction ceremony. Rumors had been circulating for some time on how they were in a romantic relationship for a period of about 3 years.
However, according to local news blog Howwebiz, Desire Luzinda is reportedly not so much in love with the Chikibombe singer. She’s rather using him as a bait to attract donor funding. It’s said that after Desire started the Desire Luzinda foundation a few years ago, she tried to get funding in the USA but failed.
She was then told to get married to a born again Christian if she was to get any sort of funding. It was the church where she prays from in the US that told her to do so.
And since she and Levixone had been old friends, she decided to use him and this is the reason that their relationship has been kept a top notch secret.
