Local rapper, Shafik Walukaaga aka Fik Fameica, seems like a man who has no luck when he travels overseas. The singer has revealed that he was detained for over 24 hours in Dubai over presumably travel documents. Consequently, this saw him miss his scheduled show in Dubai where he was slated to perform alongside the comedy duo, Maulana and Reign.
Fans had already bought tickets for the show and the singer assured them that the show will be rescheduled. When they released him, he was physically exhausted and would not put up a good performance.
“Hey guys, I really want to apologize to you for the inconvenience caused but I’m exhausted and don’t think I can put up a good performance. These guys detained me for over 24 hours and I feel so tired and sickly,” said the singer.
Fik also assured fans that he will perform today in Abu Dhabi and then perform in the Dubai show tomorrow. The singer was also some time ago detained in South Africa over the same issues. Consequently, he ended up missing his performance there too.
