Local music fanatic, DJ Nimrod has taken to social media to claim that singer Juliana Kanyomozi does not support fellow musicians. According to Nimrod, artists should not promote Juliana’s upcoming concert because she never posts about other musicians’ projects.
He further claimed that the singer recently posted about Azawi’s show because Swangz Avenue (Azawi’s label) is behind her show slated to be held on Friday, August 19 at Serena Hotel, Kampala. The bitter DJ, who believes in an industry where musicians support each other concluded by calling upon his fans to attend B2C’s concert that is happening on the same day as Juliana’s.
“Naye this Music Industry can be funny and unpredictable. The way Ugandan musicians are posting about Juliana’s show and yet she NEVER posts any of your shows!! She only posted Azawi’s coz Swangz is doing her show. I love an industry where we support each other or where we support those who support us. Yagala Akwagala!!! She doesn’t deserve the support she doesn’t give. Periodttt. B2C ENT UG (Kampala Boyz) this Friday.” Nimrod’s bitter post reads.
Several entertainment analysts recently came out to attack Juliana for holding her show on the same day as B2C. The industry gurus wanted Juliana to pick another date, explaining that the B2C boys were the first to choose 19th August.
