Last week, news emerged that socialite Olimi Charles alias Sipapa had reportedly stolen 1.6bn and other valuables from a South Sudanese businessman in Bunga. Sipapa has since been arrested but according to socialite, Bad Black, he is an amateur thief.
Bad Black, who was previously imprisoned for four years in Luzira over fraud said with advanced technology, there are better ways to steal money. “Who still steals money by breaking into homes? Sipapa should have used better tactics to make the don wire money on an account without breaking into a house,” Bad Black said.
For his naivety, Bad Black believes Sipapa should serve his sentence even if it means staying in jail for 10 years.
Bad Black said that instead of breaking into the home of Jacob Arok to rob USD 429,000 and other valuables, he would have rather used other tactics and have the money deposited into his bank account.
Self-styled the “Embezzler”, Bad Black says that with the prevailing economic hardships, Sipapa shouldn’t have stolen and that he should serve his sentence even if it lasts ten years.
