Famous local singer David Lutalo has spoken about dating fellow singing sensation Shakira Shakira. Shakira who is based in the United States came back to Uganda to pursue her dream of singing. However, it is quite very hard for an upcoming musician to make it to the top in Uganda.
One has to have a strong team to push them so that they can manage to reach there. Other people also use their money to make up by doing collaborations with different artists who are already on top of their game. It is hard to get these collaborations with big artists. One has to be so much talented or has to be known by the artiste.
Shakira who came from the USA to join the industry wasn’t that popular. However, she was fortunate enough that musicians like David Lutalo accepted to give her a collaboration.
There are so many artists who have been in the industry for so long but they haven’t got a chance to work with David Lutalo. When the two artists did a song, people started comparing them saying they might be something between them.
According to Lutalo, there isn’t a romantic relationship between him and Shakira Shakira. The two did the song together and that is it, nothing more. He said they are close friends but Shakira Shakira has her own man as Lutalo has his woman.
“I am not dating Shakira Shakira, we just did a song but she has her men. I also have a woman so I don’t see a reason for dating her,” he said.
David Lutalo is one artist who has been so private about his relationships and family.
