In a shocking turn of events, Paul Musisi, son of the well-known Mengo royalist and Kikuubo businessman, Wilson Mukiibi Muzzanganda, has been apprehended by the police in Mukono District. The arrest follows allegations of Musisi’s involvement in the murder of his girlfriend, Nangobi Shadia.
The incident reportedly occurred on November 26, 2023, when Musisi visited Shadia’s residence in Namubiru village, Nama sub-county, Mukono District. Witnesses claim to have heard repeated knocks on Shadia’s door, with Musisi allegedly being the visitor.
After a few hours, Musisi returned, only to discover Shadia’s lifeless body after breaking into her house. Subsequently, Musisi reported the incident to the police.
According to Richard Kalulue, a resident and chairman LC1 of the village, the couple seemed to have been living harmoniously, with no prior complaints or issues reported about their relationship. The sudden and tragic nature of Shadia’s death has left the community in shock.
Upon police arrival, Uganda police spokesperson Fred Enanga revealed that an examination of Shadia’s body unveiled marks consistent with strangulation. In light of these findings, Musisi was taken into custody to assist with further investigations.
The community, once untouched by such grim occurrences, now grapples with the aftermath of this tragedy as authorities work diligently to uncover the truth behind Nangobi Shadia’s untimely demise.
