Renowned singer Rema Namakula recently addressed the speculation about her pregnancy in a candid interview. A video circulating on social media showed her donning traditional Muslim attire with a noticeable baby bump, fueling rumors about her expected arrival.
Rema expressed surprise at the public’s reaction to her pregnancy, given her marital status. As an active married woman, she emphasized that starting a family is a natural next step for her.
“I told you that giving birth is the only task I have left, plus loving my family and husband. I am a married woman and very active, so you cannot be surprised that I am pregnant,” Rema stated.
When asked about rumors of an upcoming wedding celebration with her husband, Dr. Hamza Sebunya, Rema clarified that they had already held a Nikkah ceremony (Muslim marriage) in 2019. She mentioned the possibility of a traditional celebration to invite guests, with Dr. Hamza Sebunya hinting that it might be imminent.
