Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze has said, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, the Director Salt Media and lead pastor at House of Prayer, Canaan Land wakes up every morning together with his employees to serve Satan.
Nambooze made the allegation while on her Mukono Municipality WhatsApp platform while responding to a news story done by salt media about the repairs and upgrade of water channel in Kikooza, one of the cells in Mukono Municipality.
In the news story, the Salt Media reporter did not mention that the MP (Mrs. Bakireke) played a pivotal role in the repairs and upgrade, contributing money and lobbying for culverts used to repair the channel that had blocked passage of people who use an annex road within the area.
Dismayed by the story, Nambooze went on to her WhatsApp platform to call the Salt Media reporter in the area, Mr. Eric Yiga, Pastor Bugingo and the employees at Salt Media agents of satan.
Nambooze said; “Are you people mentally well? How can you lie about an activity that was done during daylight? What did Pastor Bugingo do for us here? Is this how Eric Yiga executes his stories now? I have given up on Salt Media, for you abandoned Jesus Christ and now wake up every morning to serve Satan.”
Nambooze’s comment attracted a basket of other views from several of her supporters attacking salt media for the story.
It has however been established that Nambooze was barred from being promoted at Salt Media platforms after attacking Pastor Bugingo, and his wife Suzan Makula during last year’s impasse that saw the couple dragged to Entebbe Magistrates court.
The elephant fight between the two National figures has left several of the staff struggling on how they can report stories done by the MP without disrespecting their boss.
Pastor Bugingo has not responded to Nambooze’s allegations. The MP has however been in the news for a number of issues including having double standards. He was accused by Kimaanya Kabonera MP, Abedi Bwanika for using government money worth Ugx 1.2 billion to get treatment from the US while barring people from engaging government to rescue several NUP supporters rotting in prison.
