Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi slapped a reveller’s phone smartphone over filming her intimate parts. On Saturday 03rd June 2023, the Bakiga Nation held its 11th edition at Lugogo Grounds the former Zoe Grounds.
The event is aimed at celebrating the Bakiga culture, togetherness, and solidarity through music, drama, and festivals. The festivities saw several musicians take centre stage, with Winnie Nwagi as the headlining artist.
However, midway through Winnie Nwagi’s performance, she noticed a reveller who was filming her thighs and genitalia part something she has over the years disagreed with.
Renowned for being protective when it comes to her body, Winnie Nwagi lost her cool, before slapping the smartphone off his hands.
The infuriated singer further cautioned revellers against disrespecting musicians, noting that they ought to leave their horns home before they grace events.
