NTV Uganda journalist Faridah Nakazibwe has revealed that Uganda has lost many great talents to “Kyeyo”. Over the years, many Ugandan artists have exited the country to various parts of the world in an effort to find greener pastures.
However, because of their hectic work schedules and other limitations, it is nearly impossible for these stars to retain their musical forms.
Judith Babirye, Dre Cali, Sizza Man, Tool Man Kibalama, Julie Mutesasira, and Naira Ali are a few of the celebrities on the long list. The decision among artists has been noticed by numerous music enthusiasts, including Faridah Nakazibwe, who vented her displeasure via Twitter.
Despite being a Muslim, gospel singer Judith Babirye is one of Faridah Nakazibwe’s favorite artists, and the singer halting her career after landing in Boston left her with a sour taste in her mouth.
Here, listening to Judith Babirye’s Omuliro and others. I just remembered the many great talents Uganda has lost to kyeyo.
