What M7 Told Gen. Muhoozi And His MK Army Leadership In Meeting…

The MK Movement strategists have decided to go back to the drawing board after President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni slapped tough conditions on their activities.

On Wednesday, President Museveni met with MK Movement’s top leadership led by their supreme leader Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the senior presidential advisor on special operations.

Gen. Muhoozi, through his Twitter handle, said that the discussion with the president centered on Patriotism, Pan-Africanism, Socioeconomic transformation, Strategic Security and Democracy.

Balaam Bagaruhare, the MK Movement National Vice Chairperson in charge of the western region reveals that they managed to receive unequaled wisdom and guidance on various issues aimed at fostering unity and bringing cohesion in the country from President Museveni whom he said is the father of the nation.

Among those attending the meeting were a veteran journalist and also the MK spokesperson Andrew Mwenda, his deputy and also the Kasambya County legislator David Kabanda, Kitgum district women member of parliament Lilian Aber, Igara East legislator Micheal Mawanda, media center’s Micheal Katungi, and Museveni’s brother Micheal Nuwagira.

Sources in MK Movement revealed that the big man from Rwakitura has pushed them back to the drawing board because of the tough conditions he placed on their activities.

Sources divulged that Museveni advised MK Movement’s top leadership to stop calling Gen. Muhoozi a generation leader and explained to them that it is not good to praise someone when he is still alive.

Sources added that Museveni laughed at the MK movement for calling Muhoozi a generation leader when yet he has not yet gotten into leadership.

“Instead the president advised that we should put all our energy into mobilizing the public, especially youths, to participate in government programs put in place to fight poverty. He told us that praising Muhoozi doesn’t bring food on the table at the end of the day,” privy to the details of the meeting told East African Vibe.

Sources added that the president told MK movement leadership to be very careful when doing their activities and to avoid clashing with other people with different political ideologies.

He, however, thanked the MK team for neutralizing and fighting Opposition supporters, especially from the National Unity Platform (NUP) who had turned social media into a place of abusing and demeaning others who had different political ideologies.

Sources disclosed that the president didn’t comment on the prayer among MK movement members to retire their principal Gen. Muhoozi from the army.

Kabanda recently said that Gen. Muhoozi assured them that President Museveni is going to retire him from the army so that he stands for the presidency in 2026. Sources said that after meeting the entire delegation, Muhoozi held a one-on-one meeting with Museveni.

President Museveni further promised to take political action against his ministers involved in the Karamoja iron sheet scandal.

However, when contacted, Balaam rubbished the allegations that Museveni stopped them from praising Muhoozi by calling him the generation leader.

Balaam insisted that the big man only thanked them for the good work they were doing of mobilizing youths to participate in government projects established to fight poverty.

On the complaint that Buganda region was not represented in the said meeting, Balaam said that the MK Movement National Vice president for Buganda Frank Gashumba was on special assignment in Kigali, Rwanda.

He added that Joseph Tamale Mirundi, the MK Movement spokesperson for Buganda who was supposed to represent Gashumba also received an urgent assignment which made him miss the meeting.

Balaam noted that the issues concerning Buganda were also discussed in the meeting and they will be addressed.
