M ukono municipality member of Parliament Hon Betty Nambooze has revealed she has the same experience as singer Alien Skin. They both have managed to jump off Police moving cars after being arrested.
For Betty Nambooze, she didn’t reveal what she had done but she said she was picked up by Police. She didn’t even know where they were taking her.
As a way to save her life, she decided to jump off and run but because she is a woman she couldn’t manage to run faster. When she jumped off, they picked her up and threw her back on the pickup.
For Alien Skin, police picked him on Monday after fighting with Pallaso but as they drove him to the police station he escaped.
He was filmed jumping off the car and disappearing into thin air. Unlike Hon Nambooze, he managed to run, and they can’t trace him at the moment.
In the same political talk show on NBS television, Hon Nambooze said revealed that Ugandans now fear police.
Instead of running to it for protection, they are instead hiding from it because they know once someone gets into their custody it is torture. That was also her fear when she decided to jump off the pickup. She believes that’s what Alien Skin also feared.
“Just like we witnessed Alien Skin jumping off a police pickup, I too had a similar experience when I jumped off a pickup in Nakasero,”she revealed.
