Big Talent Entertainment singer Eddy Kenzo has revealed that for as long as fellow singer Eddy Kenzo is still a musician, he is his elected president.
During the late Kato Lubwama’s burial, singer and politician Bobi Wine addressed the congregation, particularly the musicians.
In his speech, Bobi Wine tackled a number of issues, including imploring fellow musicians to fight for the activation and implementation of copyright law.
Bobi Wine added that musicians shouldn’t be blindfolded by the government monetary handouts turning them into beggars.
Bobi’s submission, however, didn’t settle well with a section of musicians, including the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo.
Taking to his socials, Eddy Kenzo vented his frustration with Bobi Wine deeming fellow musicians beggars.
Eddy Kenzo clarified his earlier assertion in an interview by saying it was inappropriate for Bobi Wine to refer to other musicians as beggars.
Even Mr. Kyangulanyi is under because he is a musician and I am the president elected. So I am obligated to correct him where necessary because I am his president.
