It’s was a cold morning for the people of Jinja after the death of seasoned politician Josephine Nambooze who died today early morning at Jinja Regional Referral Hospital.
Nambooze a teacher by profession has been a top politician in Jinja contesting since 2011 for District Women Member of Parliament against Ruth Tuma, Nabirye Agnes, and Loy Katali on DP Ticket though she has been unsuccessful in all her bids.
She crossed from DP to FDC a few years ago and recently crossed to Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) last month on the 14th together with former Jinja East legislator Paul Mwiru in an occasion that was graced by the Party’s principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and Opposition Whip John Baptist Nambeshe.
Reports indicate Josephine Nambooze succumbed to Chest Pain related complications. She’s been a resident of Mpumudde National Housing Estate in Commercial Cell in Jinja City #RIP NAMBOOZE.
